SAMEER RASTOGI

 

Sameer Rastogi joined Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP in 2000. He specializes in Securities, Business and General Commercial Litigation.  His practice involves representing broker-dealers, associated persons, customers, corporations, individuals and shareholders in a wide array of matters including, but not limited to, securities transactions, business contracts and arbitrations.  In addition, Mr. Rastogi practices in the Firm’s Broker-Dealer Regulation department by creating new broker-dealers, amending existing membership restriction agreements, qualifying associated persons to practice within various states and self-regulatory agencies as well as defending broker-dealers and associated persons in enforcement proceedings before the National Association of Securities Dealers and Securities Exchange Commission.

 

Prior to joining the Firm in June 2000, Mr. Rastogi was associated with the law firm of Goodkind Labaton Rudoff & Sucharow LLP, where he practiced in its securities class action and general commercial litigation departments. He graduated from Rutgers College with a B.A. in economics and political science and from Fordham University School of Law in 1996, where he was an editor on the Fordham Moot Court Board. Mr. Rastogi is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and New Jersey and the federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and District of New Jersey.
