RICHARD J. BABNICK JR.

 

Richard J. Babnick, Jr. joined Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP in 1999. He represents business entities, officers and directors, shareholders, and individuals in state and federal court proceedings, as well as broker-dealers and registered persons in investigations and administrative proceedings before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, self-regulatory organizations and state securities regulators. Mr. Babnick also represents customers, broker-dealers, principals, supervisors and associated persons in arbitration proceedings before the National Association of Securities Dealers and other tribunals.

 

Mr. Babnick was formerly associated with Parker Duryee Rosoff & Haft, PC, now known as Reed Smith LLP, and served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable G.J. DiBianco, Magistrate Judge, Northern District of New York. He graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law in 1996, where he was an active member of the Moot Court Honor Board and represented the College of Law in several trial/arbitration competitions in the United States and Europe. Mr. Babnick is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New York and the federal courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
