MARC J. ROSS

Marc J. Ross is a founding member of Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP.  Since the firm’s inception in 1998, Mr. Ross has developed an international practice, representing public and private companies, investors, high net-worth individuals, brokerage firms and hedge fund managers throughout the United States, Canada, Israel, China and Europe. His clients value his business approach and the broad base of knowledge he draws upon to assist in their businesses. Mr. Ross advises clients in a wide range of investment and capital raising transactions, including private equity financing transactions (PIPEs), as well as reverse mergers, stock and asset acquisitions, banking and lending transactions, and secured and unsecured financings. He also counsels clients through the arduous and often frustrating process of civil regulatory and possibly criminal investigations, whether the client is the subject of an investigation by a self-regulatory organization, a state agency, or a federal agency.  He represents clients before federal and state courts when a client’s economic interest or right is being harmed or disregarded, or when a client finds itself confronted with a threatened or actual lawsuit.

Prior to founding Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP, Mr. Ross was associated with several large and distinguished law firms, including Willkie Farr & Gallagher. He graduated with distinction from Hofstra University School of Law in 1987, where he was an Associate Editor of Law Review and President of the Trial Advocacy Club.  During law school, Mr. Ross received several awards for excellence, including the William F. Levine Scholarship Award from Hofstra University and an award from the American Trial Lawyers Association.  He is licensed to appear before courts of the State of New York as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York. Mr. Ross also regularly appears before the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and various state and federal agencies.
