MICHAEL H. FERENCE

Michael H. Ference joined Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP in 1999. Mr. Ference’s practice focuses on Securities Litigation and Arbitration, as well as representation of private and public companies in all facets of their operation. He also represents clients in Federal court litigation, as well as in general commercial litigation matters. Mr. Ference has successfully represented clients in actions brought before regulatory bodies such as the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and the New York Stock Exchange. He has represented dozens of public and private companies and NASD member firms, as well as hundreds of securities industry registered personnel.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ference was a member of the law firm Lampert, Lampert & Ference, where he specialized in Securities Litigation and Arbitration as well as Corporate Finance matters. He graduated in 1991 with University Honors and a B.S. in Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and received his M.S.I.A. (MBA) from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie Mellon University in 1992. Mr. Ference graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1995, where he was a member of the school’s Moot Court National Team and Moot Court Honor Society and received two Jacob Burns medals for academic excellence. He was admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey in 1996 and 1995, respectively. Mr. Ference is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey, and has been admitted to practice in various other United States District Courts pro hac vice.
