JONATHAN R. SHECHTER

 

Jonathan R. Shechter is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Department of Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP, having started here as a law clerk while attending law school. Mr. Shechter focuses his practice in public offerings and private placements, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law, as well as the formation and representation of hedge funds and the creation of new broker-dealers. Being fluent in Hebrew, Mr. Shechter also represents numerous Israeli companies in cross-border transactions and in their SEC compliance requirements.

 

Mr. Shechter graduated from the University of Maryland with B.A. degrees in Economics and Political Science, with a focus in international economics, and earned his J.D. from New York Law School. Mr. Shechter is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
